A Young Boy’s re-kindled Dream

A child’s dreams are known to be pure hearted and sensitive. Sidelined dreams often create the most optimistic ideas, once rekindled.

  Our founder, Sumit Ahuja, too, dreamed of studying fashion, but often instances of society and little exposure have a habit of subduing one's passions. 

He carried on in life and pursued commerce, another mildly respected field, right until he met the radiance behind Atarasva, Priya Ahuja, a Fashion Studies graduate from NIFT. He was given another chance at fulfilling his long lost wishes and together, with his support and her knowledge they started a traditional clothing venture. Despite putting their heart and souls into scaling it, fate and timing became loopholes, and covid took away bright opportunities. 

But who knew it’d leave the brightest of them all.

 In April of 2024, they were given another chance at making their dreams come true and that little seed of hesitation, hunger and drive finally gave birth to Atarasva. Today, our lovely teams of three founders, Sumit Ahuja, Priya Ahuja and Snigdha Ahuja, are determined to live their stories and help the silent dreamers live theirs’. 

Why ATARASVA

The name was inspired from the word “atara” that means “novel” in Japanese and “sva” a feeling of “self” in Sanskrit. Atarasva is more than just a brand; it's a pilgrimage to our origins, a homage to the enduring grace of Indian fashion, harmonized effortlessly with the spirit of today. Rooted in tradition yet reaching for the stars, each creation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.
